As COVID-19 swept across the globe, the UK faced an unprecedented crisis: frontline workers urgently needed PPE and medical supplies, but traditional supply chains were overwhelmed. In March 2020, the DHSC turned to Uniserve, alongside other global logistics leaders – for immediate, large-scale support.

The Results
Uniserve delivered one of the largest emergency logistics operations in UK history:
- 35 billion units of PPE and test kits
- 1,500 full air charters of medical equipment
- 2,500 rail containers from China
- 15,000 ocean freight containers
