Seafast acts as the UK agent for SAAS, managing Ecolog’s end to end food supply chain for the MOD’s Falkland Islands operation – one of Ecolog’s largest bases.
This includes handling bookings, arranging ambient/chilled/frozen transport from the UK and Belgium, loading CMA CGM containers, completing customs, and securing negotiated freight rates due to MOD involvement. Beyond the Falklands, Seafast has supported Ecolog with ration pack deliveries and logistics for UN operated facilities in Somalia and the Central African Republic, as well as tender work for global vessel chartering.
