Appointed to the GCA Courier & Specialist Solutions Framework

GB Global Government & Defence has secured a place on the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) Courier, Distribution, Storage and Specialist Solutions framework agreement (RM6354), a major UK government framework for logistics, storage and specialised transportation services. The Government Commercial Agency (GCA), the UK’s central commercial and procurement organisation, connects the public and private sectors to achieve the best outcomes for the UK and its citizens. GCA uses its commercial expertise to create a simpler procurement experience that redirects valuable resources into essential public services – creating value for the nation.

The framework agreement is open for all UK public sector organisations to access, including central government and local authorities. It’s also open to health sector, defence, police, emergency services, devolved administrations and third sector organisations.

Jason Silver, GB Global Government & Defence lead, said: “The group has extensive experience delivering end-to-end logistics for public sector operations. Becoming a GCA named supplier means we can compete to support more organisations at greater scale.”

GB Global Government & Defence holds places on 13 lots. The lots cover both routine and specialist public sector requirements for courier, warehousing, distribution and specialist logistics solutions.

Uniserve holds the framework appointment, with services delivered through GB Global Government & Defence. Supported by wider group companies and our ecosystem of named specialist SMEs.

The results strengthen GB Global’s position within the UK public sector logistics market. This reflects the Group’s technical capability, operational resilience and competitive value for money.
