Uniserve, part of GB Global, has been shortlisted in the International Logistics Business of the Year category at the Logistics UK Awards 2026.
The annual awards celebrate excellence across the logistics industry and recognise organisations delivering outstanding performance, innovation and value across global supply chains.
The shortlisted submission focused on the long-standing partnership between Uniserve and Dayes Group, a relationship spanning more than two decades. What began as a traditional freight forwarding arrangement has evolved into a strategic partnership encompassing global freight management, supplier performance management, digital supply chain visibility, warehousing, fulfilment and distribution.
A key driver behind the nomination was the measurable impact delivered through continuous improvement initiatives. By implementing Uniserve’s One World supply chain visibility platform and optimising freight consolidation and carrier management strategies, the partnership has delivered significant operational benefits, including an 8.7% reduction in freight costs, improved supplier visibility and enhanced supply chain control.
The submission also highlighted one of the partnership’s most significant achievements: the successful migration of Dayes Group’s operations into Uniserve’s Felixstowe Mega Distribution Centre. The complex project involved relocating over 6,000 pallets and transferring inventory across 130 articulated vehicle movements, all while maintaining uninterrupted customer service.
Today, the operation manages more than 2,000 active SKUs, holds approximately 5.8 million units in inventory and distributes around 13 million units annually.
Commenting within the awards submission, Thomas Koszykowski, Head of Supply Chain & Logistics at Dayes Group, says:
Over many years, Uniserve has consistently provided a high level of service and has become a trusted extension of our supply chain operation. Like any long-term partnership, we’ve worked through both challenges and successes together, and throughout that time they’ve remained honest, transparent and committed to finding practical solutions that work for both businesses. What has stood out most is the consistency of their people—from the warehouse floor through to senior leadership— who have always been proactive, diligent and resourceful in supporting our evolving business needs. We value the strong relationship we’ve built together, look forward to continuing that partnership in the years ahead, and I would like to thank the entire Uniserve team for the support and commitment they have shown throughout our journey.
The Logistics UK Awards winners will be announced at the tenth annual awards ceremony in London on 10 December 2026.
